Clementines Restaurant and bar
Once a S A Railways bus service maintenance shed, the property was developed into a restaurant site in 1997.
The little red and green corrugated iron building that is Clementines Restaurant & Bar is something of a landmark in Clarens.
Starters include: Blue Cheese and Walnut Salad, Lentil & Coriander Soup or Avocado Ritz.
Main courses include: The slow-cooked Chicken Pot Pie and Pan-Fried Trout or Lamb Breedie.
Weekend specials include: Fresh rainbow trout with almond butter.
The pub has a small but well-selected winelist. A cider, ale or stout from the Clarens Brewery is worth the stop alone.
Tip: The Lemon Meringue Icecream Cake is to die for!
